About
Welcome to my blog.
I am the CTO at CityGrid Media, the largest content and ad network for local. Before that, I was the CTO at Gorilla Nation the largest online advertising sales representation company and AtomicOnline. Prior to GN, I held many positions at Shopzilla.com, the leading shopping search engine: software architect, VP of operations, VP of Product Development and Engineering, and agile coach.
For years, I built a rigid command and control waterfall process, and brought development to a halt.
One day, I stumbled upon the Agile Manifesto, turned 180 degrees and never looked back.
Today, I am a Certified Scrum Coach, and implement lean/kanban to build, launch and operate a variety of products and web sites.

Can you give me some examples of criteria on how to measure a “high-performing” team? How can managers know that we are an effective team?
I think team work and trust are necessary, but then are these even measurable? How do we know that we reached the “goal”?
Thanks!
